HISTORY
Peter Tornqvist, the founder of Tornqvist Company, would have been proud to know that the company is still serving the industry with the timehonored standards that he set in 1872. Due to the needs of his era, he developed advanced techniques in the metal fabricating of gas lamps, cornices, sky lights and later the installation of furnaces and ranges. The company grew and prospered under him and his son, Adam.

Subsequently, the Grimbilas family purchased Tornqvist to add to their fabricating capabilities. With over 70 years of experience in the custom fabrication industry, this highly regarded sheet metal facility complimented their plant in North Jersey which handles the heavier end of metal fabrication. These two facilities provide the flexibility necessary to produce custom metal products which are not only cost efficient, but of the highest quality.
